In this Grade 11 Canadian mathematics unit, learners extend trigonometry from right triangles to oblique triangles by using the Sine Law to relate side lengths and opposite angles. By the end of the unit, they can solve triangles in the AAS, ASA, and SSA cases, recognize when the ambiguous case gives zero, one, or two solutions, and judge whether an answer is geometrically reasonable.
